West Midlands Golf Club — 26 July 2026 The Sodbury Swingers headed to West Midlands Golf Club for another Society Day, with 12 players battling it out across the individual Stableford and the 1-2-3 Best Ball team competition. The team event was tight, but Team Aidan — Aidan Panvalkar, Ellis Cushley, Aiden Mitchell and Andy Trott — took the win with 73 points, just two clear of Team Luke on 71. Team Callum finished third with 69. Individually, Luke Higton produced the best round of the day, winning the Stableford with 33 points. Aidan took 2nd with 30, while Ellis Cushley, Callum Hill and Jake McHenery were all tied behind them on 29 points. 🏆 Results - 1-2-3 Best Ball: Team Aidan — 73 pts - Singles Stableford: 🥇 Luke Higton — 33 pts - Singles Runner-Up: 🥈 Aidan Panvalkar — 30 pts - Nearest the Pin: Jamie Hill - Longest Drive: Andy Jenkins There were a few flashes of genuine golf amongst the usual carnage too — including Jake birdieing the par-3 4th and Callum making a 2 on the par-4 16th.
