Sodbury Swingers Golf Society is responsible for the personal information used to run this website. The following details complement the Society privacy notice.
Membership enquiries include the details you submit and are available to authorised committee members. Invited accounts use your email address, name, membership status and access level. Supabase provides account authentication. Passwords are handled by Supabase; they are not shown to the committee.
The website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare services. Website content, documents, uploaded photos, enquiries and change history are stored for the Society. Committee changes record the editor and time so we can resolve mistakes and protect access. Access and membership administration support our legitimate interests in running and securing the Society; other purposes and lawful bases are explained in the privacy notice.
Photos included in published articles, events, committee profiles and sponsor listings are visible to visitors. Please contact us if you have a concern about a photo of you. We seek permission for public promotional photographs as described in the Society notice.
Push notifications are optional and use your consent. When you enable them, we store your account identifier, browser delivery address and selected categories. Your browser’s push provider receives the encrypted notification. Notifications contain Society headlines, committee announcements and page links, so consider whether you want them visible on your lock screen.
You can change categories or turn off alerts in the member area. Turning them off removes the selected subscription; browser permissions can also be revoked in your device settings. Invalid delivery addresses are removed when a push service reports them expired. Delivery records are removed after 30 days during notification processing. Publication identifiers remain to prevent repeat alerts. General Society retention periods and international transfer safeguards are explained in the privacy notice.
Essential browser storage keeps you signed in and supports the installed app. Optional Squabbit embeds are blocked until you allow them. Read Cookies & storage to see what is stored and change your choice. Links to other websites open services with their own privacy information.
You can ask about your information, request access or correction, and ask for deletion or restriction where applicable. You can withdraw optional consent at any time and object where we rely on legitimate interests. Contact us to exercise these rights or raise a privacy complaint.
